Home Remedies For Anti Aging

WHAT IS ANTI-AGING?

  • In the medical and more reputable business community, anti-aging medicine means early detection, prevention, and reversal of age-related diseases. This is quite different from tackling the aging process itself, and a wide array of strategies and therapies are currently available. Calorie restriction, for example, is a demonstrated way to lower risk for a wide range of age-related degenerative conditions.

Home Remedies for Anti Aging

1. Grate raw coconut and squeeze milk out of it. Apply this milk on your face and this will give your skin a glowing effect. It is very common anti aging remedy.

2. Rub raw potato on areas having marks or pigments. Many suffer from acne and blackheads and they really spoil facial appearance. With age these problems worsen your appearance. A simple home made remedy for this is applying a mixture that’s made up of equal quantities of glycerin, rose water and lime juice on the skin before going to sleep.

3. Avocado helps to give you a fresh and young look because of its oily nature. Simply apply either the pulp or slices of avocado on your face and you skin will get that rejuvenated look. This is another useful home remedy for anti aging.

4. You can use lemons as part of your anti aging treatment. Just applying a few drops of lemon juice on your face can help remove blemishes and age spots.

5. Turmeric powder when combined with sugar cane juice gives you a paste that is quite effective in controlling wrinkles and prevents the skin from aging.

6. Another popular home remedy for anti aging is the use of essential oils. Cut off the core of a pineapple and rub this core on your face. Leave your face to dry for 10-15 minutes. This home remedy is very effective in removing the first signs of wrinkles.

7. Milk is one of the gentlest and effective ways of removing dead skin cells. This will give you a glowing skin naturally. Lactic acid in milk helps generate new skin cells. This home remedy also helps to improve your skin's texture and does wonders to even out the tone of your skin. Apply a little milk each night after washing your face.

8. Vitamin E is also well known home remedy for anti aging. If you have age spots, apply vitamin E oil or cod liver oil to the discolored area. If you do this daily the spots will fade.

SYMPTOMS AND CAUSES OF HAIR LOSS | WHAT IS BALDNESS

Baldness implies no hair on the head. In humans, baldness generally means androgenic alopecia or "male pattern baldness" or its variant "female pattern baldness". This syndrome occurs in adult male and some female humans and other species. The degree and pattern of baldness can vary greatly; it includes male and female pattern alopecia (androgenic alopecia). This syndrome is also called androgenetic alopecia or alopecia androgenetica. An older term is alopecia seborrheica, used primarily in Europe.
Symptoms of Hair Loss

Following are the major hair loss symptoms:

1. Falling of hairs.
2. Thinning of hairs
Causes of Hair Loss
Following are the major hair loss causes:

1. Lack of vitamins (specially vitamin B6 and folic acid) in diet

Home Remedies to cure constipation

Home Remedies for constipation

Constipation (also known as costiveness, dyschezia, and dyssynergic defaecation) refers to bowel movements that are infrequent and/or hard to pass. Constipation is a common cause of painful defecation. Severe constipation includes obstipation (failure to pass stools or gas) and fecal impaction.

Home Remedies for constipation-

Treatment using Bael Fruit

Generally all fruits, except banana and jack fruit, are beneficial in the treatment of constipation. Certain fruits are, however, more effective. Bael fruit is regarded as the best of all laxatives. It cleans and tones up the intestines. Its regular use for two or three months throws out even the old accumulated faecal matter. It should be preferably taken in its original form and before dinner. About sixty grams of the fruit are sufficient for an adult.

Treatment using Pear

Pears are beneficial in the treatment of constipation. Patients suffering from chronic constipation should adopt an exclusive diet of this fruit or it's juice for a few days, but in ordinary cases, a medium-sized pear taken after dinner or with breakfast will have the desired effect.

Treatment using Guava

Guava is another effective remedy for constipation. When eaten with seeds, it provides roughage to the diet and helps in the normal evacuation of the bowels. One or two guavas should be taken everyday.

Treatment using Grapes

Grapes have proved very beneficial in overcoming constipation. The combination of the properties of the cellulose, sugar, and organic acid in grapes make them a laxative food. Their field of action is not limited to clearing the bowels only. They also tone up the stomach and intestines and relieve the most chronic constipation.

Treatment using Orange

Orange is also beneficial in the treatment of constipation. Taking one or two oranges at bedtime and again on rising in the morning is an excellent way of stimulating the bowels. The general stimulating influence of orange juice excites peristaltic activity and helps prevent the accumulation of food residue in the colon.

Treatment using Papaya and Figs

Other fruits specific for constipation are papaya and figs. Half a medium-sized papaya should be eaten at breakfast for it to act as a laxative. Both fresh and dry figs have a laxative effect. Four or five dry figs should be soaked overnight in a little water and eaten in the morning.

Treatment using Spinach

Among the vegetables, spinach has been considered to be the most vital food for the entire digestive tract from time immemorial. Raw spinach contains the finest organic material for the cleansing, reconstruction, and regeneration of the intestinal tract.

There are many homemade remedies from treating diabetes to treating bronchitis, genital warts, liver cirrhosis, high blood pressure, skin problems and ulcers. Fig leaves are not used as much as they should be. Most of the remedies for the fig leaves use the sap or the milk of the sacred tree. The big news with the use of fig leaves is that they have anti-diabetic properties. The diabetic needs less insulin when on a treatment of using the fig leaf extract. The diabetic should take the extract with breakfast, first thing in the morning. An additional remedy is to boil the leaves of the fig in some freshly filtered waster and drink this as a tea.

3. Cinnamon

Cinnamon has long been reported as a good source for the treatment of diabetes, due to a study done in 2003 by Khan and associates. 60 people were tested in the group and one third of the group was given a placebo. The end results were very impressive and the overall health of the group was increased with glucose down 18 percent; LDL cholesterol and triglycerides also showed reduced levels. Everyone was excited and the word of using cinnamon spread.

According to Cancer Tutor.com, "At least 1/2 teaspoon a day, which is critical to "soften" the cell membranes. Cinnamon mimics insulin, thus it may lower your need for insulin immediately."

4. Grape seed Extract

Grape seed extract has been proven to improve the conditions associated with this disease. Grape seed was successful in protecting the liver cells and setting up defense mechanisms against reactive oxygen species produced by hyperglycemic conditions.

Whole grape seeds are the best alternative, which need to be ground and placed in vegetarian capsules. Taking 3 capsules a day is enough. The time of day does not matter.

5. Olive Oil

Through research, they have found that an oil rich diet may prevent diabetes. By using olive oil, you can reduce your blood levels including LDL and triglycerides.

By olive oil reducing the cholesterol levels, you can prevent such diseases as cardiovascular, atherosclerosis and diabetes. Prevention of diabetes begins with weight management and proper diet. The Mediterranean diet has been shown beneficial in the treatment of diabetes by using olive oil, which is monounsaturated instead of saturated fats.

Before sleeping drink 1/4 cup of olive oil. If you prefer to use lecithin, mix one tablespoon of lecithin with one tablespoon of olive oil.

Home Remedies for Curing Toothache

HOME REMEDIES FOR TOOTHACHE

The best ‘home remedy’ is to take good care of your teeth! So, always rinse your mouth regularly, especially after meals; brush and floss to remove morsels sticking between the teeth; and generally follow good oral hygiene. However, if you do get saddled with a toothache, opt for toothache pain home remedy instead of over-the-counter medication, since they’re safe and effective. Let’s see what they are:

a. Ice massage the hand:

Gently rubbing an ice cube in the area between the forefinger and the thumb for several minutes is an effective toothache remedy, as it eases toothache. It acts by overwhelming the pain impulses that usually travel along the nerve pathways. It has a 60 to 90% success rate. Ice placed directly on a throbbing tooth also helps ease the pain.
b. Garlic:
Placing a clove of garlic with little rock salt on the affected tooth helps relieve or even cure the pain.

c. Onion:

Toothache pain is often allayed by placing a small piece of onion on the bad tooth or gum, since onion has antibacterial properties that kill the germs in the mouth.

d. Lime:

This rich source of vitamin C prevents tooth decay and also provides toothache pain relief.
e. Asafoetida:
This bitter, foul-smelling resinous material obtained from the roots of several plants of the parsley family, helps in instant toothache relief.
f. Oil of clove:
Clove oil, put directly onto the affected tooth or dabbed with a cotton ball on the decayed tooth, relieves toothache.

g. Pepper:

A pinch of pepper powder mixed with common salt is an excellent cure. It’s especially effective against the increased sensitiveness of the teeth.

h. Oil of oregano:

This is an effective remedy for toothache, because it displays antimicrobial activity against food-borne pathogens that cause tooth decay.

i. Salt:

A salt water mouthwash gets rid of tooth infection and helps cure toothache. Thorough rinsing of the mouth with salt water is important.

j. Liquor:

Good news for those who love their drinks! By squeezing a wad of cotton wool soaked in brandy against the affected tooth helps numb the pain. You can also make the gum numb by taking a swig of whiskey and holding it over the painful tooth.

Home Remedies for Curing Pimples/Acne

pimplezit or spot is a kind of acne, and one of the many results of excess oil getting trapped in the pores. Some of the varieties are pustules or papules. Pimples can be treated by various acne medications prescribed by a dermatologist, or purchased at a drug store with a wide variety of treatments.

SYMPTOMS

a) Pain:

Blemishes on the face can be quite painful because of the pressure associated with clogged pores.

b) Pus:

Pus is a sign associated with an infected pimple. Pustules, nodules, and cysts most commonly bring about this symptom.

c) Scarring:

When pus-filled pimples appear on the body and face, there is a chance that scarring may occur. This outcome is often helped along when an individual doesn’t properly care for their face. Picking at and squeezing infected pimples only increase the chances of suffering scars.

d) Extreme Redness:

Infected pimples, such as pustules, nodules, and cysts display rather red features.

HOME REMEDIES FOR PIMPLES

a) Vitamins:

Pimples have been known to positively react to the addition of niacin (100 mg; three times per day), and vitamin A to a diet. 400 mg of vitamin E taken once per day also works wonders. You may also take 50mg of therapeutic zinc in tablet or capsule form (three times per day).

b) Fenugreek:

A useful paste can be created from the leaves of this vegetable, which is then applied to the face before you retire each night. At the start of the morning, the paste should be washed off using warm water. Pimples, especially blackheads are treated with this home remedy.

c) Orange Peel:

When orange peels are pounded and combined with water, an effective home treatment for pimples is created. Apply to affected areas and watch the results.

d) Lemon:

Apply lemon juice to pimples to reduce their size and intensity.

e) Garlic:

If you rub raw garlic on problem areas several times a day, you can clear up skin. You may also eat three seeds of raw garlic once daily for a month to see results. The garlic seeds purify the blood, which aids in keeping pimples at bay.

f) Coriander and Mint Juice:

A helpful herbal remedy for pimples includes the mixing of one teaspoon of coriander juice, combined with a pinch of turmeric powder. Every night, after thoroughly washing the face, apply the juice for an effective home remedy. Mint juice may also replace the coriander for this home treatment for pimples.

g) Hot Epsom Salts Bath:

It is believed that a hot Epsom salts bath taken two times per week will ease all cases of acne [2].

h) Cucumber:

Try applying grated cucumber over the face, neck, and eyes for the treatment of pimples and blackheads. This process should only take 15-20 minutes of your time.
