WHAT IS OBESITY:
Obesity is a medical condition in which excess body fat has accumulated to the extent that it may have an adverse effect on health, leading to reduced life expectancy and/or increased health problems. Body mass index (BMI), a measurement which compares weight and height, defines people as overweight (pre-obese) if their BMI is between 25 and 30 kg/m2, and obese when it is greater than 30 kg/m2.
Obesity increases the likelihood of various diseases, particularly heart disease, type 2 diabetes, breathing difficulties during sleep, certain types of cancer, and osteoarthritis. Obesity is most commonly caused by a combination of excessive food energy intake, lack of physical activity, and genetic susceptibility, although a few cases are caused primarily by genes, endocrine disorders, medications or psychiatric illness. Evidence to support the view that some obese people eat little yet gain weight due to a slow metabolism is limited; on average obese people have a greater energy expenditure than their thin counterparts due to the energy required to maintain an increased body mass.

WHAT IS ACIDITY:


Acidity can be described as a condition wherein there is an excess of acid secretion by the gastric glands of stomach. Heartburn and gas formation are the major symptoms of acidity. Our body produces acid to digest the food we eat. However, problem strikes, when it produces more acid than what is required. It is, then, that the gastric juices move from the stomach, into the lower esophagus, making it dysfunctional. There are a number of reasons that lead to the formation of acidity.




HOME REMEDIES FOR ACIDITY:

  • Clove and cardamom (ilyachi) when sucked gives relief from acidity.
  • Intake of purely processed mint (pudina) is best remedy to relieve acidity.
  • Drink coconut water 4-5 times a day. It is an effective natural treatment for acidity.
  • Banana (kela), water melon (tarbooz) and cucumber (kheera) also reduces heart burn.
  • Consumption of fresh apple cider vinegar with honey in a glass of water before meals reduces the chance of acidity.
  • Basil leaves , also known as tulsi , are beneficial for the treatment of acidity also. The correct manner of taking tulsi is to take about seven to eight leaves of the herb each morning.
  • Cumin seed boiled in water and the it is consumed with meals.
  • preparing a herbal tea that contains spearmint and licorice is quite beneficial
  • Consuming 10grams of jaggery or gud or mishri (refined sugar) helps in curbing the acid reflux.
  • Avoid drinking water exactly before and after meals.

ACIDITY
Acidity may be defined as sour or burning sensation in the chest, which is caused by regurgitation of the excessive acid secretion into the upper end of the esophagus.

Normally the stomach secretes an acid, which is essential for the digestion. This acid helps in the breakdown of the food. When there is excessive secretion of this acid by the stomach it results in acidity. Its common symptoms are dyspepsia, heartburn and formation of the ulcers. It is more common in emotional and nervous individuals.

Hypertension is classified as either primary (essential) hypertension or secondary hypertension; About 90–95% of cases are categorized as "primary hypertension," which means high blood pressure with no obvious medical cause.The remaining 5–10% of cases (Secondary hypertension) are caused by other conditions that affect the kidneys, arteries, heart or endocrine system.
Persistent hypertension is one of the risk factors for stroke, myocardial infarction, heart failure and arterial aneurysm, and is a leading cause of chronic kidney failure.Moderate elevation of arterial blood pressure leads to shortened life expectancy. Dietary and lifestyle changes can improve blood pressure control and decrease the risk of associated health complications, although drug treatment may prove necessary in patients for whom lifestyle changes prove ineffective or insufficient.
SYMPTOMS OF HYPERTENSION:

CAUSES OF HYPERTENSION: 
• Overweight has often been related to high blood pressure, as more pressure is exerted on the walls of the arteries.
• An inactive or sedentary lifestyle increases the heart rate, which puts extra load on the heart, and may lead to high blood pressure.
• Too much consumption of salt or alcohol, and smoking can lead to heart disease.
• Stress is another factor.
• Age or family history can also be blamed.
• Other conditions like thyroid disease, oral contraceptives, hormonal disorders or kidney also increases the chances of high blood pressure.

HOME REMEDIES FOR HEADACHE

HEADACHE treatment is the most sought after remedies as it is one of the most ordinary ailment people suffer from. Headaches trouble almost everyone at some time or the other. Most headaches are practical, being caused by temporary upsets, and are not related to any organic changes in the brain. They are often natures warning that something is wrong someplace in the body.   • Lemon provides relief to the headache caused by heat. In a mortar, pound the lemon crusts and prepare the paste. Now, put this paste over your forehead for relief.
  • Take a bucketful of hot water. Now, put your feet in it for about 15 minutes before going to sleep every night for about 2-3 weeks.
  • Take a large bowl of boiled water now add 10 drops of eucalyptus oil in it. Cover the head with towel and take steam from that water. It is a common cure for sinus headache.
  • Take ½ tablespoon of cinnamon and add some water in it to prepare a fine paste. You can apply this paste as it is a wonderful home remedy for headache.
  • Take some flowers of henna and rub them in some vinegar, you can apply this over your forehead. It is also very effective home remedy for headache due to heat.
  • Take 200ml of spinach juice and add 300ml of carrot juice in it. You can drink this mixture juice on regular basis.  
  • Those who are suffering from hyper acidity several times feel headache, in that case one should take 2 tablespoons of Aloe Vera gel.
  • Rosemary is wonderful remedy for headache with cold. In 1 liter of water boil a handful of fresh leaves of rosemary. Inhale the steam from the water while covering your head with towel. 
  • Prepare some paste of sandalwood by mixing water in it. Now, apply this over your forehead. It is one of the most effective home remedies for headache.
  • Banana is a good fruit which is used for the treatment of headache. It provides you ample amount of energy and also cures headache.
  •  Heat 1 teaspoon of almond oil. When it cools down, put two drops in each nostril.
  • Rest is necessary for body to rejuvenate its strengths. So, one should rest in the quite and dark room for some time whenever facing problem of headache.
